I have never received more compliments on a sweatpant outfit than the number I received on a quick coffee run in the West Village recently. Now, I’m the kind of person who will take a few extra steps to get the best thing in the neighborhood, so passing by maybe three other coffee shops, I made my way to my favorite place. On this short walk around the block, I believe I ended up tallying four or five compliments. I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that these compliments were unrelated to my sweatpants.
